So many cruises, so little time...

On our recent FANTASY cruise we sailed a new 5-night itinerary from Port Canaveral to Grand Turk, Half Moon Cay, and Nassau to share our findings with our readers. While docked in Grand Turk, we explored the island by using the on-and-off 'Guana Tourist Bus and discovered a charming and unspoiled port of call.

There were many teens and younger children on board for the Easter holiday cruise and we took a look at the problems of possible overcrowding as well as underage drinking. We also checked out the improvements and upgrades Fantasy received during her last drydock in order to dispel rumors that the first of Carnival's Fantasy-class ships is, ahem, "old"... here's what we found during our Fantasy Cruise.

Sailing, really sailing with the wind powering the world's largest full-rigged ship through the water is a spine-tingling thrill. It's matched only by the unfurling of her 56,000 square yards of sail.

My first sight of Royal Clipper was breathtaking. Come along and bring your inner pirate for a real adventure, take a Royal Clipper Cruise through the Grenadines.

Explore Ashore: Join Georgina Cruz on Tours that Multi-Task and learn how to enjoy both the cultural and natural attractions in your ports of call as she tours in Australia and New Zealand during a Diamond Princess cruise.

What's Happening on Land & Sea: Cruise News... New itinerary announcements, including what's on tap for 2007, and other industry news are in Cruise Diva's Cruise News. April highlights include details about new ship launches (NCL America's Pride of Hawaii and RCI's Freedom of the Seas), a second vessel for easyCruise (and updates to easyCruiseOne), a Star Clippers ship redeployment to Tahiti, and much more.

Where's Cruise Diva? The next couple months promise to be busy with two new ship introductions in May. Cruise Diva will be in Los Angeles for the christening of NCL America's Pride of Hawaii and a preview cruise. Then it's off to Miami for a short preview cruise on Royal Caribbean's new Freedom of the Seas. Watch for reports and first-hand impressions of each in late-May. Coming up in June is a transatlantic crossing on the fabulous liner, Queen Mary 2 from Southampton, and another new ship introduction, Crown Princess in New York (actually, make that the new cruise terminal in Brooklyn!).
